We charge a standard 6% + gst for all our tailored rental services. Our property management agreements (with landlords) are initially fixed for a year term and roll on to periodic thereafter. Whether you want full rental management services, or our one-off services, we have got you covered. At all times our landlords are kept in a secured closed loop communication (as per their instructions) and we make sure that they are up to date when required. We take care of your property as our own but will always come to you for consent and approvals.

Please feel free to email us at info@realzea.co.nz with the complete description of the property that you wish to have a rental appraisal for. A web or storage link of the property pictures would be more beneficial and helpful in drafting the appraisal. We then put our expertise in calculating the maximum weekly rental possible after a statistical review of the average rental stats in the area of similar properties.

Please call us to discuss your letting requirements and flexibility to allow us to do at least two open homes in a week, preferably one on a weekday and one on a Saturday. We mainly market your property on TradeMe, our official Website and Marketplace (Facebook) and allow viewers to register themselves online for the viewing. Finally, we prepare and handover the tenancy agreement and bond papers to our landlords along with other papers and ID’s, and take care of the first payment (bond and rent) into the landlord's account. We charge a standard letting fee (one week’s rent + gst) plus $250 + gst (advertisement cost) for the above services.

We strictly do not charge any commission for undertaking any small or major maintenance work at any of our rental properties. Let it be any sort of non-urgent maintenance, we always contact our landlords for their consent and approval before we undertake them. We have a very hard-working team of trades people from electricians to plumbers to builders, who do not hesitate or shy to provide you free quotations or advice before you could make up your mind.

Definitely the biggest nightmare for any landlord is when the tenants are unable to pay rent and the arrears are piling up day by day. Many of our landlords have ongoing mortgage commitments with the bank on their rental properties and hence it becomes really important that they get the payments on time every time. At REALZEA, we have zero rental arrears policy and follow a very effective 5 step process from first call to lodging a tribunal application for the arrears recovery.

We do not charge any fee for our quarterly property inspection. We do a brief physical inspection of our rental properties every 12 weeks and send a very detailed pdf report with clear pictures and our comments to our landlords. This helps our landlords determine how their property is being looked after and what proactive steps are we taking to rectify any maintenance or cleanliness issues if required.
